Bird toys are so much more than just a cute play-thing for your parrot. Bird toys provide activity, exercise, beak trimming, purpose, safety, and most importantly quiet time for pet parrots. They keep the beak trim and exercised as the bird chews. They provide reasons for the parrot to move about the cage while also providing a hiding spot when the parrot feels exposed. Some toys can be strictly for "playing." However, the majority of toys you provide for your parrot should be consumable.
